What more can be said that hasn't already been exclaimed by ambient lovers? This is Gigi Masin's magnum opus; a beautifully emotional journey chronicling the Italian composer's heartbreak from a failed relationship. The album covers many different sounds and genres; balearic, jazz, piano, atmospheric; even drone, and Gigi Masin managed to make it all come together to create this masterpiece. What a devastating work of art.

There is an uncountable amount of beauty in this. I'm really happy that this is available again.
Can't compare it with the original pressing but this one just sounds brilliant.
Everyone did a great job here. Thanks a lot.

Driving synth beat in the first two tracks must have directly inspired Masin's "Clouds" off his next album.

This record will be receiving a CD release for the Japanese market some time this year. I believe Music From Memory is handling this.

A very special ambient/jazz compositions, a very special ''hidden'' album... So eclectically Balearic...

This is one of the best things I've heard in the past few years, of any genre, bar none. Deeply recommended-
...minor detail: while this new artwork is suitable regarding its musical content, the original graphic was initially what captivated me, resulting in my listening to it in the first place...superior artwork all around and uniquely fitting despite it's seemingly abstract relation to the material. I plan on obtaining the reissue either way...though was simply curious as to 'why the update'?, seems unnecessary-

Restored and re-mastered from the original tapes comes Gigi Masins much sought after first album Wind. Never commercially released the LP was in fact only given away at a number of small concerts, with many of the remaining copies destroyed during floods in the Venice based musicians house. Quickly becoming seen as something of a landmark ambient album in recent years, Wind' is now lovingly presented again in its entirety. True to its original private issue it is once again being made available through Gigi Masins very own The Bear On The Moon Records.

Absolutely beautiful mastering job - not lucky enough to have an original to compare but the mids and highs sit so nicely and sound so detailed texturally on wonderful deep bass. Packaging is beautiful too. Bless u for the repress x
