When you look at live video footage of Gino Vanelli in the 1970's that is available today, you realise how stupid the record company was for not marketing him in the UK and elsewhere. Music lovers were robbed! Rarely do you see or hear such unbelievable talent, and Gino's voice is simply outstanding. He manages to straddle the markets of mainstream hits and complex jazz-rock fusion, a feat in itself. I saw Gino live twice in London in small venues in the late 80's and 90's. He moved men and women to tears by the sheer emotional beauty of his voice, and what a band.
