Ive just ordered this after seeing feedback from Hip-O-Select. Although the sleeve and inner sleeve is very nice, the sound quality is very muffled. It has been taken from the master tapes but unlike the castle communications release from 1992, it is as if the master tapes have been damaged as the earlier release sounded much more bright with high end.

Giorgio - FROM HERE TO ETERNITY (Hip-O Select)

This is by far the worst CD I have ever got! I bought it 2 months ago and I'm very disappointed.
I read that the quality is perfect for audiophiles and no CD comes close to this. Haha - wrong!
The tracks are all horrible compressed, the dynamic is gone, the sound muffles, really bad!
PLEASE do NOT buy this edition!
I also own the Repertoire Records CD and the ones from Castle Communications.
These are much better (in sound quality)!
I have heard that the Repertoire Records Disc is ripped from an old LP but the sound is brilliantly remastered, changed in dynamics (to sound like recent House- or Techno-albums and clean.
The Castle Communications is better, it's directly from the original master tapes.
