STONED ISLAND ESTATE, from Glamorous Hooligan's first album, gets a slate of remixes for its reappearance on their second album (though can you take much fault with a rap that gives a shout-out to Hobbes?). Les Rythmes Digitales takes it up to a house tempo, speeding up the vocals and laying down a smooth synth line. Local, on the other hand, chop things up for an acid big-beat workout, while the Regular Fries go for a slow rock jam, adding new vocals to suit the mellow mood. Tranquility Bass gets his hip-hop on, rearranging the lyrics for a slow chug. Stoned to say the least!

Jacques Lu Cont delivers an electro classic, typical of his LRD material at the time, speeding up the rap and taking the sound back to the 1980s. Another favourite is the Regular Fries Reshuffle, which creates a very laidback groove. Most of the original vocals are ditched in favour of repeated refrains, including "Kojak is coming back"! Sounds very much The Sandals and all the better for it. The Local and Tranquility Bass remixes are nothing special.
