This album came to my attention by way of an interview with Josh Homme [QOTSA.]Not certain if Homme had been projecting his sophomoric sarcasm when asked what his fav record of the moment was, he was quoted as claiming this Glen Campbell release, as such. Frankly, from the very first spin I was profoundly moved by how beautiful a record Campbell had crafted. And, as time has passed I find that I return to this release...realizing that it is holding up well over the test of time. Great song choices, excellent production and Campbell's voice make for a clear choice as one of my favorite cover records. Highly recommend for those you drawn to pop-rock.
