THIS NINE PIECE band from Montreal is extraordinary in presenting a sweeping sonic landscape that remarkably achieves a humanism in all the bravura of these two orchestrated musical pieces (predominantly guitars, drums and strings - in the vein of early Dirty Three with more guitar work!; or a more rhythmic Village Of Savoonga) "Moya" is a dynamically breathtaking interlude to field recordings of a discontented street poet chasten by society ("Blaise Bailey Finnegan III"); it is a timely social commentary that - in it's simplicity is profound. The music weaves in and around it cunningly with great effect. The last six minutes of "Blaise Bailey Finnegan III" are big, bold, gripping minutes, of pure dramatic tension brought on by it's three guitarists and two percussionists - leveling off quietly - passionately cinematic... g.y.b.e. combine all forms of media into one power din.

wow!, confused... (as usual): is there really 4 different versions of the 1999 pressing?

Is there any way to tell the difference between the first pressing and reissue?
