So far ahead of its time. Most of this album is a perfect blue print for early 90's ambient techno.

I began listening to music in da seventies, first early hard rock, later more jazzoriented rock like Yes, Genesis, Gentle Giant - that kind of stuff! At the same time i discovered Gong. The first record I bought was You. I can tell you now that this record gave me the mind trip of the century. I loved the album from start to end, and I still do. Every track is an adventure, the production is superb, the use of synths are very innovative and the instrumental skill are top notch. Gong made many good albums, some very funny, some too psychadelic, some more avantgarde oriented, but You is a complete album. A top ten record from the seventies IMO.
