Lightfoot had an urge to return to his more 'acoustic guitar' sound and this album is built on the trio sound that made Lightfoot's reputation. There are additions to the sound but this has much more the feel of the 'If you could read my mind' album and is comparable in style. Excellent songs again - 'Christian Island', 'Alberta Bound' and 'Ode to Big Blue' standing out along with ' Looking at the Rain' that Eric Clapton recorded for the Slowhand sessions. A must for Lightfoot fans.
