Wow, this is how it's done ladies and gentlemen. The sheer amount of low end bass on this record is phenomenal. The songs sound alive and thump. I wasn't expecting so much bass, but I love it. It's quality low end bass that pounds without taking over. It's also a dead quiet release. Worth every penny.

My copy was sounding good (not great) until I hit the locked groove on the Roots Manuva part in All Alone. My copy arrived today from SrcVinyl.ca. This is from a batch that just came from the distributor last week (I pre-ordered it when it was first announced).

My copy sticks at the "we have to survive.." lyric in 'All Alone.' I'm using a Technics SL-1210MkII with AT440mla, so not exactly shabby equipment, if not high-end either. Lowering the tracking force from 1.5g to 1.0g for side C seems to circumvent the problem :)

the cover is VERY tight, there is 3mm of inner sleeve that doesn't fit into the gatefold, my records are stamped A3/A3 side a/b and A2/A2 side c/d, very shiny and flat, the printed inners are sh*t,better put an antistatic sleeve to avoid scratches ! Crash tested (unwashed) on a Technics sl-bd20+grado black : NO SKIP OR CROSSED GROOVE on my copy, soundwise : they forgot the de-essing,there are some low freq, not a lot but with proper eq on your amp, it sounds good ; no pops or skips, but tons of static, not perfect, but you can't do miracles on an album that was mixed mainly for cd, it sounds good and you enjoy it. If you're a fan of music go for it. If you're a jerk with a 10.000$ turntable that only buys mofi one-sided records cut at 45rpm that you listen once then store, you'll be disappointed, wait for a limited edition of 100 (pressed under an eclipse) for rsd and pay it big bucks, you'll get more satisfaction

Played a few times a while ago with no problems, and now suddenly a locked groove. I'm starting to think it's a pressing issue that only gets worse with bad turntables, my turntable is good enough quality to avoid issues like this unless it's that bad

Locked groove on the Roots Manuva track 3 side C.
Make sure you open and play it or get stuck with a new record that gets stuck in the middle of that song!
Same issue as the Vinyl Me Please release
