Strongly Coil influenced, I really liked this album. That is, until dark shadowy figures started to form at the edge of my vision...

Aleister's Amazing Library is a sonic exploration of a hidden sanctum. It builds slowly with atmospheric disturbances and sideral sounds that echo, creating a sinister environment. The introduction of pitch-bent pianos slowly builds the anticipation until we hear the sounds of creaking doors. Its like we're hiding in the corner of some dungeon. It builds further with the turnig of pages. You can picture the scene instantly. Is this isnide a snow-blown tent on the slopes of the Himalayas or some deep, dark room in Mexico ? Aleister took his library everywhere with him so it could be any location. And then the voice jumps into the left stereo field. Its immediately haunting and scary - many times I've had to turn off the track 3 as on headphones its just too scary! When you have become used to the shock of the invokatory words you're able to relax into the finale of the track as it slowly building momentum with drumming and the introduction of a guitar solo.

It's worth it just for track 3. Keep up the good work! Can't wait for the next Invokation.
