An incredible effort by the ZeECc camp. Grad_U starts off with the original version of an incredible tune called "Everyday Temple." A very strong cut in its own right. But is it strong enough to have two entire discs full of mixes? You'll have to decide.

I can't help but compare this to Rhythm & Sound's "See Mi Yah" release, as "Everyday Temple" also takes one simplistic reggae jam and offers a multitude of versions of the same cut. One difference, however, is "See Mi Yah" is a constant mix for the most part (the beat never stops). Keeping this comparison in mind, I have to say "See Mi Yah" is lightyears ahead, because that collection goes by and it's so hypnotic that I could go 7 cuts of it not even realizing they've gone by and loving every minute. "Everyday Temple" gets slightly old to me after hearing 4-5 remixes of it already. Don't get me wrong, individually they're all incredible mixes and the album is really strong - but I can't sit through 1 full CD, let alone 2 and not want some more variety in the vocal cut. I wish disc 2 had a different song to mix. Keep in mind we've got a lot of heavy weight dub masters on here like Mr. Cloudy, Ohrwert, Nautilus Project... well you can see the list above anyway. This is truly an essential collection to have - so check it out.
