I have the original version of this record and it was always one of my "go-to" live records. But this version is a significant upgrade to that, with larger soundstage, more clarity in vocals and instruments, darker background, and lower surface noise. It is simply one of the best live records - one of the best records period - that I own. It took a while to buy it, because the original sounds so good, but do yourself a favor and find this now and add it to your collection before it's too late!

The original release of this album got me into the grateful dead. I own two copies of the 1981 version, both very nice. But this version is clearer, and sounds more live. Kinda feels like the musicians are sitting around the room.

Does anyone know how Analogue Productions sounds (2xLP, Album, RE, 2012)? Is it successful re-release, or not? What is the quality of vinyl and most importantly how it sounds?
