The Rob Mello Dub samples the synth line from Yoko Ono - Walking On Thin Ice (1981). It's pitched up a bit but uses the same chord progression such that it's essentially a house dub of the original track. Nicely done.

I'm not such a fan of the Original Mix, but the Radio Slave Dub is a masterpiece. Guaranteed to get people moving. Sounds just as fresh and up to date as it did in 2004. Digital download is available at juno.co.uk.

When Santiago split from Radio Slave I was a little hesitiant as to if I would like this or not. Good news, this is excellent. Radio Slave at it's finest. This is a peak time house workout with enough originality to stand out in a set. It's unrelenting and keeps getting deeper.

I like this EP a lot. I've always been a big fan of that twisted funky Classic Music Sound, but recently most of the releases were just too leftsided for my taste. This Song with DJ Colette's beautiful Vocals makes that difference. The first Greens Keepers version is funky, well crafted , but short enogh to play "Keep It Down" on the radio.
Rob Mello adds one ogf his typical twisted electro grooves that add the typical CMC feel to this EP and will definitey satisfy most long time Classic Music Fans.
The Highlight though is the fine MEMBERS ONLY Remix by the west coast musicians from KASKADE; reminding me of the finest moments on Naked Music!
The Dragon Tear Mix by the Greens Keepers themselves takes this composition to the next level with the craziness, they are best known for, since their smashes "Why Should I Sing Like This" or "What's My Man Gotta Do With Gan".
"Keep It Down" might sound too straight for some Classic Music Fans, but has undeniable cross-over potential so that it's already played by DJ Hell, Mandy, Ivan Smagghe, Tom Middleton, Doc Martin, DJ Sneak, Groove Armada, Ewan Pearson, Kenny Hawkins and many more big names from the UK, that got it as a Pre-Release.
