This CD is very pleasant to listen to. It is very R&Bish. Soul. The presence of Patti LaBelle and Bill Withers vocals makes this release varied. Classic standards like "The Best Is Yet To Come" and "Just The Two Of Us" will be unsurpassed. But the CD is full of other delights. A great instrumental remake of Bob Marley "Jammin'", a somewhat strange lyrics in "Little Black Samba" (although is one of my favorite for its latin jazz feel).
But the real kicks are songs like "East River Drive" and "Let If Flow". The latest one is my favorite. For the lover of "Let If Flow" you should check the compilation "To Grover With Love" where there is an amazing rendition of the song by Spyro Gyra's Jay Beckenstein.
