First I've met this band on a compilation album called 'Science Fiction Jazz Volume 3' with their track 'The Look'. I am really not a drum and bass fan but this piece is an excellent one.
I tried to find something else from the Guardians and after some years I just met this album. I would say I have never heard a better d'n'b record than this one although it is doubtful whether we can label it as drum and bass. It is very jazzy and vocals are also wonderful. If I have to compare it to something else I would cite Adam F's 'Colours' that is also an untypical d'n'b album.
I recommend it to everyone who like jazz with strong beats.
A must-have!!
