The quality materials and faithful sound of this reissue have the feel of a Mofi release. It's an odd thing for what is perhaps the penultimate "lo-fi" (i.e deliberately sh*t sounding) indie records of all time to be "remastered"... but fear not, there is no remixing evident, this is a precise reproduction of the original material. It sounds "great"--that is to say, on the songs that sound like the master tape was pulled out of its reel and dragged behind a car you can really hear all the glorious sonic flaws in great detail. If you're into that sort of thing (personally I think it's genius).

Possibly one of the best reissues in recent years... amazing remaster job and nice editing.

They do a great job with this record! Very quiet pressing and a nice thick gatefold sleeve!

This is pretty much a perfect reissue. Almost no surface noise on the vinyl, and it comes in a very thick gatefold sleeve (with all of the lyrics on the inside). For such a lo-fi recording it sounds so warm and rich. I wish all reissues had the same care put into them as this one does...
