Love this album. Not a bad track on it. My vinyl copy is perfect. Very little, if any, background noise even in between tracks.

I am not sure if this is a bootleg, despite it was released by a reputable polish label. Its strange, because a sticker, found on the also dubious russian CD release, is printed on to the cover.
Its a shame that gusgus did not release this on a global scale and a decent label like their former releases.

Not their best album, I miss Högni, Urdur and President Bongo very much but Biggie`s tipical deep and analogue sound and Daniel's great voice saves the LP. All the instrumental tracks are good, imho "Fuel" is one of their best instrumental track of all time. Maybe it's a little tired record from this legendary icelandic group I think this duo formation not their stongest line up but if you like the previous two albums you will like this too. 4 stars. My LP sounds great, halfspeed cut but the cover made from thinner paper as usual.

Sounds good in principle. BUT very annoying crackling predominantly in the loud passages although very silent in the runout grove and between tracks.
Cut at half speed according to etching.

No Manual, Lies Are More Flexible, Towards A Storm and the massive closer Fuel is what makes this album listenable. It's interesting in fact, as these tracks are instrumental, with no vocal works which was very distinctive for GusGus through their entire catalogue. Lies Are More Flexible lacks the excitement of previous albums - initial feel makes you think this album was made just out of boredom during the long Icelandic winter, finished in a hurry, with no proper thinking and heart in it. It lacks the atmosphere. The lyrics are plain stupid. I feel really bad for such a harsh review, because this is probably the band I listen the most to, but to call this album "incredible" or rate it 5 star is absolutely ridiculous, even more so after amazing efforts they did on previous records. I've heard a new album, a companion to Lies Are More Flexible is coming next year. Not really sure if this is what world needs from GusGus right now.

Amazing album, incredible electronica and superior analog hardware manipulation - what a record!

Can't find a way to modify the Master release tracks (to add Backing vocals by John Grant on track 2).
