I would agree, for the most part, with the previous reviewers take on this album, but would like to add: there are a lot (and I mean nearly half of the records running time) of very, very quiet stretches thruout both sides of the record. Very slowly the tension rises until the tempo, energy and those infamous manic vocals kick in for effect. Interesting listen, but I would not suggest going to great lengths or expense in obtaining a copy

Extract from my French Independent & Underground Obscurities article in Audion 56 (2010): One of the craziest of bands from the Strasbourg scene, Gutura played a really wild/offbeat psychedelic new-wave concoction, part classic prog, part punk, part avant-garde, part freak-out, not least odd being the female singer who had a kind of 'scat sings' in a manner not unlike Diamanda Galas or Yoko Ono. Gutura were weird, challenging and highly original, so it's a surprise their LP has become sought after!
