Good record. Funk De Fino has weathered well between '94 and present. The vox (where is it from? I would like to know!) is an ace point late in the track and well worth waiting for! Listed here as 'progressive', I'd say this is ultra deep smooth house. There are elements that could be interpreted as 'trancey' but as an adjective, not a genre...

Colleen Murphy mentioned this track on a radio show she did in memorium for David Mancuso. Excellent record, very Lofty. Also, I believe "Funk De Fino" is actually "Fucked if I know," if you listen to the little vocal sample in the song.

'Funk de fino' still sounds fantabulous.....can't really see this not rocking a party unless it is full of emo goths?

Featured on Stacey Pullen Dj Kicks, a brilliant mix not like the recent sets he did for fabric or other labels... This track is absolute deepness which reminds me a sueno latino ! Also a perfect dj tool when techno is a little bit hard in the late night ! Dope !

"Varisuvia" is a banging breakbeat prog. trance monster with lofty atmospheric acid lines and tribal drums that would make anyone dance like mad at a rave methinks. "Funk De Fino" makes for a deep/tech-house workout with some agreeable ambient synths, funky beats, and suggestive speech samples. Both are superlative productions.
