Mine has prominent surface noise. No skips, but definitely noticeable and pervasive throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to process an exchange, if necessary. Definitely clean it before you spin it (always a good idea anyway). I’ll give it another cleaning and a second spin. I’m keeping mine as I don’t know if I’d get a better copy or a worse one...and it doesn’t bother me to the point that I want/need another copy. So good. Def looking forward to more from H.E.R.

Lots of reviews at Amazon about skipping on multiple tracks. Luckily that's not happening here. It's a nice warm pressing with just the right mastering. Nice to see both EP's brought together and spead out over four sides. No wonder Alicia Keys called her "My gurrrl" on The 2019 Grammy's, as there are many similarities here. It's great to hear a black artist do songs without endless guest rappers. Just letting H.E.R. own light shine. It has a nice low end that even with your bass control maxed out doesn't distort. One for the subwoofers for sure. Playing back with a Technics SL-1200 MK2 and a Stanton 680 HP.

Sounds amazing! Clean flat pressing. Dynamic and nice soundstage. This one was done right!
