Recorded on November 19 and December 10, 1967 at Felix Meritis, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Recorded on B & O Beocord 2000 de Luxe, using two Sennheiser MD 421 microphones and BASF tape.

Original front cover images were created individually by Han Bennink - three or four thousand, he once estimated - drawing on blank sleeves, pressing rubber stamps onto them, affixing little screws to the cardboard. He’d spread a batch on a floor like tile, ink his feet and walk on them. Eventually he discovered a gallery owner was buying up copies for resale on the Japanese art market. (...)" 1st edition was made only in a few hundred copies - with the handmade covers by han bennink. this seems to be a fact after talking to han bennink about this in july 2017. that the first edition was 3 - 4000 is not likely. the most commmon one is the one w an instant composers pool - stamp in blue ink of the first editions. the collage / drawings / object - covers are way more unusual.

If I understand correctly there are several editions of this record:

1. "Table tennis" on front cover; pink print on white background on back cover; pink on white labels
2. "Table tennis" on front cover; green print on white background on back cover; green on white labels
3. Handmade front cover on blank paper; pink print on white background on back cover; pink on white labels
4. 1984 reissue with printed "ear" cover, black on white labels

Correct me if you have another version!
