This was a side project of (I believe) one of the members of Guardian. In my opinion he should have stuck with hard rock/metal. The year was 1999 and the nation was experiencing a revival in swing music (especially, it seemed, in the Christian music scene). I guess it seemed the thing to do and so we have Happily Ever After. Maybe if you really like swing you can swallow this, but I was given this CD by a buddy who picked it up at Sunshine Fest and could hardly listen to it (I just catalog it because it exists). The vocals are weak and uninspired. I think all the instruments and definitely the trumpets, are done on a keyboard and its very obvious. Most of the songs are an obligatory combination of cliche bass lines and "brass" to the swing beat with vocals that hide behind the mix.
