I first heard it from Nick Warren's Global Underground Shanghai mix

Of course, basically there is no need for remixes of timeless classics such as "Acperience 1",
but nevertheless SECRET KNOWLEDGE managed to add some extra drive (e.g. higher tempo
and even a little breakbeat), which made it playable in a more "modern" and faster set.
A good thing is also their usage of own 303 line(s), instead of just sampling everything
off the original version.

Matthew Herbert (fortunately) stayed HERBERT and reduced the original to a funky little
minimalistic track, adding a lot of his own typical sounds, so actually the only recognisable
piece of the original version is the "basis" bass line.
Therefore some people might not even identify it as "Acperience" ;)

The most unnecessary version is the DEX AND JONESY remix, which is (in my opinion)
one of the examples, why some tracks should not be remixed or at least not by everyone.

Hardfloor's original version (of course) gets 5 stars, so overall I give this 12" a 4 star rating.

It would be very difficult to present an outstanding remix that enriches the original track so magnificently well. Many have tried and fallen short but this Babicz version is an absolute belter and a massive crowd pleaser.

Classic example of Acid House, with the burbling and stabbing layers of 303's, the echoing pads, the lovely strings building tension, and the build and release. A true reminder of what things were like almost 20 years ago, this track has stood the test of time.

Hardfloor were not happy about this being remixed and re-released and were apparently not informed of it coming out.

So, only five were pressed, but twelve people own the release here on Discogs? Somehow, that math doesn't add up...

This is some of the transcription and description upon first hearing this

Stop what you're doing and wait till this is over. Serious. There may be a point in fighting this... yes sir. Fight it.... sure.

Let it wash over you.? Yeah. Ain't hard as there's that tripling bass-cum-drum which arrives just after each beat. If you like to shuffle forward, whilst you are ably assisted so easily through an unplanned combination of acumen, adrenaline and acid, you don't have a chance.

The high-hat opens followed by a lower down synth pattern but - no preparation given - there's the 303 underpinning, nay, that destroying and over-riding 303.

The volume has risen. Cowbells of some god-damned sort in the distance... acid rising to the point where I hear my future wife say my name in three different languages... and then the cymbals kick back in? Jesus, I don't know...

Splendid and varied remixes. Especially the Secret Knowledge Remix has enormous power with its heavy, whistle-like acieed kicking in at minute #six.
