None of the original versions of Deep Inside do anything for me. Far too skippy garage for my tastes and totally under produced.
However... Visnadi's "Heavy Weather Mix" is an absolute bomb that saved this from obscurity in my humble opinion, still sounds amazing today.
Lil Mo Yin Yang's - Reach is a far better collaboration by Louie Vega and Erick Morillo. I'm more into my house than garage.

Deep inside is overrated, in my opinion Maurice's vibe is a much better track. I remember being off my face eating dinner at a small restaurant in Ibiza about to leave when Maurice's vibe came on, couldn't stop dancing.

duh-dum dum dum dum... Strip down Deep Inside and it is incredibly simple built up with very basic plink-plonk sounds. Yet a catchy drum programming and only Masters can put something like this together.

"Just Believe" contains vocal samples of "Blaze ‎– So Special" (1990).

I’ve always found it hard to understand the obsession with this track. Strangely obtaining a cult-like obsession in the UK, particularly with Garage DJ’s.

Perhaps one of the most un-Louie Vega tracks I can think of, that he put his name to. Made more understandable by the fact that it was actually Erick Morillo twiddling the knobs on this. Louie also confirmed recently (on the Red Bull Music Academy Lecture that MAW did), that mastering killed this track (which makes sense when you hear how hard the kick is in relation to the rest of the track).

Released a year in advance of “Beautiful People” to make people aware of the hook, before unleashing the Barbara Tucker monster into clubland (which IMHO is far superior).

Another classic. Kenny Dope/MAW were slammin' cuts back then. Goes well with a Lady Miss Kier.
