For my ears this ties with Hell's "NY Muscle" for his best full length. My favorite tracks on the album were always "This Is For You", a glitchy, sexy, mechanical vocal techno workout feat. Chicks On Speed. But "For Your Love" is pure non-stop, thumping sex disco. I've had this album since I was about 14, same year it came out, and recognized a lot of the samples Hell uses on the album or the original versions of the songs like "Warm Leatherette" or "Suicide Commando" and a few others. But although as sure as I was that "For Your Love" probably sampled some old disco tune I never knew what until yesterday. "For Your Love" samples/in based on/rips from "For Your Love" by Chilly (1978) which is a cover of a song by the Yardbirds and is Chilly's "For Your Love" is even more epic and sleazy that Hell's version. But that's what I like about Hell, he takes classics like those and turns them inside out, still leaving much of the original but re-interpreting them into whole new twisted tracks, and the all original songs like "This Is For You" will move your feet, sleaze you out and blow your speakers equally as well.

This is in my opinion Dj Hell's best full length release. I own it on cd and 2lp and if I saw another copy of it on wax, i would probably by it too. From beginning to end it reads like a bible of modern dance music with samples and sightings from likes of Moroder, No More, Barry Manilow, Dominatrix, and the Normals. It gives obvious head nods to late 80's house, italo, and new wave sound and then gives it a contemporary thrust. Plus with cotributions from Richard Bartz, Dj Naughty and members of Chicks On Speed, you gotz to git it.

An interesting sometimes trying ride.A mish mash of electro, techno pop, chip shop, flip flop or whatever you want to call it.If you like quirky then you'll like this and any way if electro pops the next big thing then soon everyone's going to be claiming ownership to this record since the release date.
