This release nearly never happened. I asked Producer what it was first time I heard him play it. Then a few months down the line after I would have expected it to have been released I remember lukus & UNDERGROUNDMUSIC telling me that it was unlikely to see release because Micropoint had had a major fall out and gone their separate ways only to reform years later. Maybe they can shed a bit more light on what actually happened and how it ended up being released. All I know it is it eventually saw the light of day and I snapped up my copy. Healing Mod is my personal fave. Motordog is one of those tracks that will fit in a mid tempo set on 33 and a higher tempo set on 45 like a lot of other European hardcore on labels like D-Boy Black Label, Fix Records, Re-fuse and some of the tracks Promo released on the Promo File series. I don't know if this was the intention to try and make the track more appealing to a wider spectrum of hardcore DJs and listeners or not. I would side with probably not and it may just be my personal opinion as Hellfish isn't known for, and to my knowledge has never really made, mid tempo stuff but Micropoint, both as individuals and together, have.
