The first album with Andy Deris on vocals, opened a new page in the history of the cult band Helloween. And after two previous albums, which still cause a mixed reaction, I was waited "Master of the Rings" with some anxiety, which only intensified because of the another change in the line-up of the band. Michael Kiske whose charismatic vocals led Helloween to the leading positions in the genre, has left the band. In truth, the legendary status of the band is the merit of not just Kiske, but rather the trio Hansen-Weikath-Kiske. But Kai has left the band back in the late 80s, and the songs of Weikath, at that time, were difficult to call a hits. And only the voice of Kiske reminded that this band once has recorded the albums that became the basis of the genre. And so "Master of the Rings" came out ... and was just a great. It was a new page. The band has partly returned to its roots, and recent musical throwings were in the past. Deris perfectly fit into the band, music became heavier and a smoother melodies were added. In general, this is a very good album, corresponding to the highest level of the band.
