I Disagree With The March 25, 1970 Release Date.
The First Ad For This Album Was Not Even Published In Billboard Magazine Till The Week Of April 19-25, 1970
The Album Debuted On The Billboard Top 200 Album Chart The Week Of April 26 - May 2, 1970.
As Big As Hendrix Was In Popularity At That Time . . .
There Is No Way It Would Have Taken A Month For This Album To Have Debuted On The Top Lp Chart.

Can't seem to find any info on this pressing I have, perhaps some sort of test pressing / bootleg? The sound quality is as good as my 'official' copy, if you can look past the crackling (which I can!)

Any info would be appreciated!

Any reason why the track "Power Of Soul" was changed to "Power To Love" on all the reissues?

I have a misprinted version of Hendrix ‎– Band Of Gypsys [Capitol Records ‎– STAO-472]. Totally bizarre, but while the label is Capitol records, Hendrix, with correct song titles and so forth, the actual vinyl is a Petula Clark Greatest Hits record. Anybody know anything about this odd misprinted record?

My matrix/runout is the same except mine has "Side 1 #2" etched on side 1 and "STAO-2-472 B Z5 #1" etched on side 2. And can someone tell me why STERLING RL isn't Bob Ludwig??
