Notes

The first Liftin' Spirit track to have a full release. This later went on to be remixed for Moving Shadow, the first of many Higher Sense records to be released on that label.

Track A samples:
Vocal from Soul II Soul - Back To Life
Vocal sample from C'hantal - The Realm

Track AA samples:
Vocal from Shut Up & Dance ft. The Ragga Twins - Java Bass

There was originally a mistake with the etching - on Other Side, "AA" was etched between "ADM 3 -" and "A", and This Side had "A" etched after "ADM 3 B". Both of these have been scratched out.

Barcode and Other Identifiers

  • Matrix / Runout (Other Side, etched): O ADM 3 - A * JTS *
  • Matrix / Runout (This Side, etched): -J.T.S.- ADM 3 B O

The A-side is the best side, although the B-side isn't too bad either.

Vocals by the gorgeous Maxine Francis (of Maxine & Dubwise fame), if I'm not mistaken. What an incredible range.... thinking about it, I wonder how many other seminal tunes she featured on?

What a tune to chop up the beats when mixing. Cold fresh air I first heard at Dreamscape 11 when LTJ Bukem slammed it into Dannys' Theme (on Logical Progression Vol 1) in 1994. Still as thunderous today with its bass, an Ant Miles trademark. A great all rounder for any set I played in the past. I recommend any dj to drop it now and watch the reaction. You might be surprised! Cold Fresh Aaaaaaiiirrr!
