This is an incredible record, from start to finish. The instantaneous downbeat of track one "Holy Serpent" tells the listener he/she is in for an aural journey that will wind down an untrodden path. From this moment until the final cut, "The Wind," the listener is transported through a myriad of existential visions beginning with the "Holy Serpent" and slithering with nothing less than a grimy, fuzz-ridden, sludgy ride through "Shroom Doom," while discovering "Fools Gold," until arriving through "The Plague" and finishing with a monumental washing by way of "The Wind." All tolled, this Australian doom/psych unit has it going on, and grabs the listener by the fuzzy balls (or whatever) from note-one. If you like doom, sludge, space, or psychedelic rock/metal, do yourself a favor and get this record.
