Lovely tunes on this release, but my copy (og. pressing) is compromised by non-fill and lots of surface noise. Very disappointing when a sloppy cut makes me reluctant to put a record on and reach for the digital version instead. This happens way too frequently these days. Maybe I’ll try the repress and see if they got that right.

Was listening to this on a train back from Paris on the morning after finding out fabric was forced to close. This album always takes me back to that ride.

This is a largely lovely record and one that is surely worthy of most listeners time, but I struggle to reconcile FTOYWHNAATWH (that title, jeez) to the unfortunate levels of hype with which it has been bestowed (45th best ambient record of all time according to Pitchfork o_O). When the right notes are hit it's celestial, though there one or two tracks that probably shouldn't have made it past 'work_in_progress_folder/okay_sketch_2655.abl' status tbh.

Is it normal that the end of the side B never ends ?

Love this record!! Only slight criticism would be that a lot of the tracks end very abruptly; if prefer a few more fade outs given the general tone. However, really really nice.

These pieces have little progression about them, and seem unfinished. This is a musical equivalent of a box of Kleenex tissues: simple, soft, square, absorbs moisture.
