A1: Perhaps what a city scape shot to Bladerunner 2 would be. Beautiful big beatless track but you can feel it's techno origins. [TEN]
A2: Though being unfamiliar with the original I would have had to mention an Ian o'brien sound so much of this must remain in some guise. Very assured production that grooves along with a more funky, spacey sound than what I would, though still will call, a Future Jazz track. [EIGHT]
B: Exceptionally percussive track in which, though it's well layered, the sounds are so subtle that they bearly register above the beats. Not without merit but not for me. [FOUR]

Album sampler here from Ian O'Brien. A1 has a real nice ambient intro track. Deep and spacey that builds much anticipation. A2 is a remix by Future Beat Alliance. As with the usual quality Matthew Puffett's attention brings in this is no exception. Quirky downtempo beginnings finally breaks away releasing a smooth and subtle space jam. Very similar to the Void Records stuff of 1995/1996 period. Wonderful melody completes the vision and another Future Beat Alliance gem. Teentown Beats on the B1 sounds like Barnabeats from Funk D'void. Nothing much there.
