One of the main albums in the history of electro-acoustic music. The longest electroacoustic work of the great Greek composer Ianis Xenakis. This version is the most complete original recording of the masterpiece of the composer, which has never before been published in its entirety, did not fit on the plates and CD. Persepolis - was specially written for the Festival of Arts and Music in Shiraz, Iran, in 1971, commissioned by the Iranian Shah. The electronic composition lasting about 60 minutes was broadcast through 59 loudspeakers on the ruins of the palace complex of the ancient city of Persepol, located 60 km north of Shiraz.
