The 12" version is a severely underrated bangin' big room deep house cut that somehow is categorized as "progressive" because Sasha & Digweed played it in a well known set of theirs (I always assumed it was Digweed since he was more in tune with this in the early 2000's).

Listen to the percussion. The vocals. The bassline. The chords. Very influenced by NYC Underground/Sanchez/Tenaglia/Twilo sounds that delved into and where later forms of "progressive" sound developed, that led to a reaction eventually helping German minimal techno to take over the underground by the mid-late 00's.

But does everything resembling this sound have to be poorly rated on Discogs, because there is a somewhat "screaming diva" vocal (that was the mantra against this style resulting from then NYC Mayor Giuliani's undermining the underground NYC club scene) and negatively categorized as muscle boy Miami/NYC/Iberian tribal-tech music? Actually, the vocal hear is more playful yet melancholy; fitting to both progressive and trip-hop vocals of the time.

New Dreams (Chillout Beats) is a nice downtempo rework stretched out on a full side of a 12".
