If you ever felt like "melting" into a rhythmic noise song and thence allow it to take over your very soul, then listen to this album -- especially Lost Highway (Exit). Play it and just melt into it. As one who has followed not only Imminent [Starvation], but rhythmic noise in general from its origins on, I can honestly say that youd be hardpressed to find a release as seminal as this one right here. And no Im not throwing Human Dislocation out the window; it has its place in rhythmic noise history. But I will say that Olivier really found his niche right here with Nord. Its doesnt get much better than this. 'Tis a shame he threw out his old circuitry with the box set of this release.

Oh God, and listening to Ren! With its subtle innocent background with bells and chimes and rhythmicy-metal-scrapy-goodness with such a bombastic and rhythmic (did I use that word? Oh! Thats how the genre got its name, thats right!) beats layered cant help but look like a mental patient just listening to it. I guarantee

In response to noizstepper's comment, I not only think that this album is far from being overrated, I in fact believe it should be praised as the GOD of all rhythmic noise releases!

If you ask me, the most overrated industrial album ever!
I mean if you look at PAL, Noisex or Hypnoskull back than, they produce a similar style in much more demanding way.
