The runout grooves on this release reads AVANTI 405-5, which suggests this was supposed to be the 5th release on Black Hole Avanti. Instead they released the Space Age 3.0 sampler, taking the Avanti label in a more techno oriented direction.

Richard Van Dongen is one of the most prolific composers in the ITWT back catalogue, with multiple releases under both the Impact and Sfinx monikers.

This EP (ITWT 314-5) is a hidden gem, containing beautiful melodies and string pieces to create a sense of harmony, and is in stark contrast to some of the harder, more minimal trance tunes written by Van Dongen in his subsequent releases.

Behind The Mirror was written by Cor Fijneman, with whom Van Dongen has collaborated frequently. It begins slowly with a nice melody on strings before progressing to a rhythmic trance section in the middle, and finally finishing with the strings once again. This structure of Behind The Mirror is hardly at the standard of Enlightenment by Photon Project, but it's still nice to relax to.

Inspiration has a lovely rhythm based around a consistent melody and breaks down into its euphoria at around the 5 minute mark. This is easily the highlight of the EP.

Just Another Story starts immediately with beats that are very reminiscent of Sugar Rush, a production by Geert Huinink & Alco Lammers (ITWT 312-5) and progresses to sharp electronic bass that reminds of Sweet Release by The Olmec Heads. In all, this track is the least impressive of the 3 available on this EP, but a couple of years after this release, Van Dongen changed his style to something much harder and much less accessible, so it is a nice nostalgia trip back to the year 2000 nonetheless.
