This record is a good piece of music. Different styles on one EP. I love "Backspace" for his minimalistic sound. Works for me. Thanks for the music :)

When I first listened to this release I was quite puzzled if not disappointed. Knowing Roland Casper's early Dj- Sets at Warehouse club along with his first two releases as Integrated Circuits "Thing Thang" and "Patience" I expected something more powerful. In fact, this LP is quite minimalistic which I could only value after having listened to it several times. The only track that kicks off is "Ghost 843" which I wouldn't call a burner though either. Generally all tracks make heavy use of percussion patterns, however do not vary a lot in doing so. Overall, with regards to the Labworks discography this release stands out as it is neither trancy nor is it very acid-like. If you're after some typical Integrated Circuits or Labworks sound I wouldn't recommend buying this record.
