Got this on release, and happy to say I have one of the 'Typo' pressings where it says 'Pogression' on the spine... oh dear! The Intense Live CD has taken a battering by me over the years, played over and over again. Just a masterclass in live performance, of any genre really but especially impressive as a drum & bass outing. The studio CD is also very worthy, it has some absolute peaches on there (Blu Mar Ten's She Moves Through being a highlight for me) but really this is all about the live disc. Even non-drum & bassers will appreciate this. Or at least they should, if they aren't completely devoid of musical taste.

Good Times Bad... I'm still dancing to it 20 years later. And Big Bud's "Freedom" off the second disc is just a magnificent piece of work.

Artemis - Sun Voyage; Tune!! Pure perfection from Artemis. What ever happened to him?

While I agree with the previous comment about the first disc(seriously. Listen to it. It's platinum & diamonds rolled in gold), the second disc does have some brilliant tunes on it. Blu Mar Ten starts it off with the stunning "She Moves Through" and it winds in and out of different sounds(from the sparkling "Sun Voyage" to Seba's minimal funk of "Remedy" to Conrad and DRS tearing it up again on "Sonic Weapon".

One for the desert island box.

One of the best GLR/Progression Sessions releases {and I've got most of them)- A stunning showcase for Intense, taken from one of their live sets. An eclectic mix of styles which could loosely be defined as 'intelligent drum n funk' - although the fact they are musicians wielding real instruments lends more energy to their music than, say, Peshay. I've had this since release in '97, and still listen to it regularly. A must for the collection for any serious GLR head. You'll never listen to the 2nd CD.
