This release consists of the best version of The Doctor. Always reminded me a bit of The Music Makers by N.R.G. in style but less dark. Happens to be my favourite track on that EP. Both quirky in any case. The remixes which appeared in late 1992 early 1993 lack some elements which turn out quite boring in my opinion.

The Tournament and Paradigi are my favourite tracks overall. Absolutely blistering rough as they come hardcore with analogue techno synth arpeggio samples and meanderings incorporated in the mix with a bit of scratching for extra flavour. And I make a rare exception with the scratching as I generally find it puts me off within a breakbeat hardcore/techno/jungle scenario.

Anyone who loved the mixes by DJ Jody (Sub Love) on the Tristan B radio show (Bristol) Circa 1992/1993 will totally rave about this. Sounds like early Danny Breaks tracks (Think 'Flowers in my Garden' mini LP on Suburban Base). Really great EP. Grab it!
