Limited edition Vault-only version of the album on blue and white split-color with exclusive cover art and fold-out poster not available with the standard version.

"Ultra LP" release featuring several special features:
- Tracks A6 and B7 are untitled, hidden tracks printed on the A-side (runs at 78 RPM) and B-side (runs at 45 RPM) labels, respectively.
- Side A plays from the inside out.
- Dual-groove technology: plays an electric or acoustic intro for “Just One Drink” (B1) depending on where needle is dropped. The grooves meet for the body of the song.
- Matte finish on side B, giving the appearance of an un-played 78 RPM record.
- Both sides end with locked grooves.
- Vinyl pressed in seldom-used flat-edged format.
- Dead wax area on side A contains a hand-etched hologram by Tristan Duke of Infinity Light Science, the first of its kind on a vinyl record.
- Zero compression used in the mastering.

Tracks A1-A5 and B1-B6 are listed continuously from 1 to 11 and play at 33 ⅓ RPM.
Track A6 is an uncredited reworking of 'Pusherman', originally by Curtis Mayfield.
There is a different running order from the CD/digital version and some mixes are different from those used on CD and digital version.
Included in the package is a hardbound book of lyrics, musical notations, photos and art as a companion to Lazaretto. An old style post card is included with the book.
A download code coupon was included.
The LP is protected in the sleeve by a paper, poly-lined black die-cut inner sleeve.
The package was sent out in a Third Man Records company card mailer.

Not only is this record, a little bit scratchy to listen to, it also has such a scary cover. I have to hide it behind another record, when I go to bed, so I don't accidentally wake up and see it in the middle of the night and get frightened. I do wish that Jack White had put something a little less ominous on the front, like a picture of him holding some cute and fluffy kittens, or something!!

Quality control on this release was terrible. My record has a huge indentation in the same spot on both sides where the songs are unplayable. Unacceptable for the price!

Just picked this up today and I'm a little bit disappointed by how fuzzy/noisy it is. Anyone else have this problem?

Also my electric intro to "Just One Drink" skipped when it was supposed to merge to the main track. Is this a tone arm problem?

This a good album and a worthy follow up to the excellent Blunderbuss and the Ultra LP features are interesting, if somewhat gimmicky. In my experience the "inside-out" nature of Side A makes cueing the first track a pain! I've also never been able to get the hologram to show. A nice package for the collection though.

I just picked this up from Amoeba Records in SF on 2/7/15 and both sides have side one stickers. Is this a known production flaw or is mine just special?

A brilliant album, but did anyone else have a download code? Mine did not.

Has anyone else noticed the lyrics for some of the songs in the booklet are wrong?

i'd like to buy this album but i'm really wondering if side A playing from the inside out is problematic or not...? the stylus can be damaged, am i right ? inverse force on the stylus + antiskating....?

It should be noted that the dual groove appears on the first song of Side B.
