I only ever knew Jackson C. Frank from the inclusion of 'Milk and Honey' on the Brown Bunny soundtrack. I looked and looked but I couldn't find this record anywhere in any form. Vinyl, CD, even illegal download. Nothing. I'm super glad this reissue happened. I finally got to hear all the other songs this man wrote. Was it worth the long wait? Yes.

As for the pressing quality. I've heard some complain that it isn't good. Maybe I got lucky, but mine sounds great. No surface noise, pops or crackles. It's not the best sounding record I've ever heard, but it's still pretty good.

Unfortunately i have to admit i agree with hans_gruber.
it is a poor product: center hole is NOT in the centre...... songs jingle....
Missing chance to honour one of our greatest singer/songwriters ever
Awaiting a real re-issue
Btw i encounter no surface noise nor crackle and clicks with my copy

I've just received this Vinyl pressing and it's not a good product. It feels cheap and flimsy. There's no liner notes or any real effort to create a nice package. The sound is not too bad BUT there's surface noise, crackle and clicks (from a new record) and it looks like it was pressed up cheap. You can see the wavy lines and marks in the vinyl you so often see on new records these days. The A side is slightly off centre too. This LP is crying out for a good reissue and based on my copy i have here, this isn't it.
