Regarding the comment mentioned here, I must mention that the face 1 of the album predominate the bass and mid tones, now let's not forget that this recording is made by a bassist and in this instrument there are no high pitched tones.
Face 2 achieves better brighter tones, since the compositions include wind instruments and percussion.
Record in excellent condition, very flat without clicks or pops, very clean.
Years ago I had this album on CD and I admit that the sound is very similar.
Today when I listen again to this excellent edition like all those made by Music On Vinyl, I have returned to love the album.
Although the experts say that this format is of inferior quality compared to the compact disc, I am fascinated by the sound achieved by the vinyl.
Over time I have been able to verify that vintage editions often offer better sound, in my opinion, I have discovered with joy that the reissues made by music on vinyl or rhino or legacy are exceptional.
Long live vinyl.
