I imagine this will be reassessed post haste now that we've lost both Jaki and Holger. This was an accidental score for about 4 dollars many moon ago in a favorite record store...picked up because of the ridiculous amount of talent on one ep...instantly moved me and has been a favorite ever since. That was 10 years or so ago.

Agreed with majordeegans comment. How is it possible that no re-press have been made? This is essential "disco no disco"-music of the 80's. The best works of both Czukay and Jah Wobble in my opinion. Deep, trippy leftfield disco at it's best!

Pretty freaking criminal that Island hasn't re-released this puppy. (Hardly a mini album - it's much longer than the average Serge Gainsbourg LP.) Excellent work by all involved at a surprisingly early period in their careers (1983.) One would have thought the appearance of The Edge alone would bring this back, there has to be thousands of downloads waiting from U2 completists. It's obvious that lots of free playing and fun was had by all during these sessions. Maybe it was a relief to get away from all their primary bands at the time. 'Sleazy' seems to predate the sounds of Achtung Baby Edge guitar by a decade. 'It was a Camel' is a Holger Czukay workout, a hoot. 'Hold onto Your Dreams' is kind of weak but shimmers and aims at the sounds of the mid '80's around the corner. 'Snake Charmer' kicks it up a notch. For Jah Wobble, this one clearly pointed the way to Invaders of the Heart. And a certain demented part of the audience (myself included) turns this wacked out jammy album up loud and dances to it. You can hear the whole thing on YouTube, but a remaster is called for, nay, demanded! Good luck finding the vinyl. The cover has a nice coarse parchment finish appropriate to the lovely primitive woodblock print.
