Hopefully this solves a mystery for some......! The tribal vocal riff on the magical 'Odyssey To Anyoona' seems to have been lifted from the obscure 'TZ 1' EP which was an obscure R&S sub-label for Outlander releases in 1991. It can be found here https://www.discogs.com/Outlander-TZ-1/release/52634 Specifically, the track A1 - 'Untitled' has the vocal riff right at the start. Jam & Spoon appear to have sampled it, slowed it down and turned it into one of the best moments in early trance

Tribal, Techno, Trance, Tech-House call it what you wilst every track on display here is a winner. The ambient interludes with broken english poetry adds a lo-fi cosy shine to it all, and "Right In The Night" fits right in there! One of the best electronic albums of all time.

Check out Y-Traxx - Mystery Land compared to Odyssey To Anyoona. Who copied from who? :)

One of my all time favourite albums. Was one of the soundtracks to my youth. Which tracks to pick as favourite, Follow Me, Odysee to Anyoona, Neurotrance Adventure, STELLA?! Just can't because they are all so damn good. Outstanding album.

I never really did like Jam & Spoon. Right In The Night is very commercial and I never understanded the fuss about Stella. I don't like that song either, just average.
But I was suprised listening to this album of Jam & Spoon. Apart of Right In The Night and Stella this is a very well done album. Very nice to listning to. It's sounds all very clean but has got a sensitive feel about the whole album. So they are not as bad as I thought. Nice surprice!
