A curious release from Mr. Donna Summer. Despite it's take-no-prisoners approach (as expected), it's his most accessible release to date, featuring some most unexpected special guests (including nu-country rising star Laura Cantrell, David Grubbs and Timeblind). Yes, all the usual elements are there (roughed-up D&B beats, noise, distortion, general lunacy) only with a little added musicality and (dare i say it) subtlety this time around.
