the second release from JJ Smoothie didn't do as well in the clubs as the former smash hit "2 People" ,which got nearly everyone falling in love with . What strikes me about this release are the vocals by John Martyn , who is one of my favourite artists . I remembered immediately that i knew this vocals, when i heard the samples at my web-shop first. . Took a while till i realized it was John Martyn. the lyrics are Nobel Price worth-
"I Don't Wanna Know about Evil , only wanna know about Love.." Top stuff . this is not only a sample of the original , but a collaberation which cycles around looking for a climax during the 8 plus minutes of the Original Extended Version.
There's only one song by John Martyn i love more - 'Over The Hill" lyrics go like this: " Can't get enuff from sweet Cocaine,Can't get enuff of a Mary Jane , i'm going home .uhuh. over the hill..."
Those were the tunes of my youth ; so i find it nice to hear it again.
