I don't know why some people are slagging this off as it is quite clearly a (Synchro-Fox) Library Of Recorded Background Music and should maybe treated in the same way as other electronic experimenters of sound who released such music on library records. And this was clearly the shape of things to come. Not many children had access to this kind of equipment back in 1973. In fact, no let's get it right shall we, not many adults had access to this kind of equipment back in 1973. I would kill (peacefully) for a copy of this album! That is all ;)

This needs to be reissued. Preferably on vinyl, with no noise reduction or compression.

Sounds really interesting, I like this better than the later stuff.

Although, I'd rather listen to Oxygène or Équinoxe, it's interesting to listen to Jarre's tunes from the beginning of the career. "Deserted Palace" included lively compositions as "Music Box Concerto" and other experimental tracks ("Une Morte Dans La Neige" from "Les Granges Brûlées" sounds like Musique Concrète).

I think it's interresting to hear some music by Jarre from the early 70s, but the tracks are really experimental and were unsuccessful.

I don't like this first album of Jean-Michel Jarre, his music is experimental, there is not melody
