Perhaps a little less radical, mineral, visionary and stripped-down than Jeff Mills' greatest 'oeuvres', this is still a solid techno and house EP with a standout moment : "The Deep", an obsessive, trippy, loopy and super swinging techno tool with a savage screaming male voice barking around like a cosmic dog, with a tricky, untamed variation on filters that's sending any dancefloor to madness the proper way ; think Jeff Mills' answer to Jack Frost & The Circle Jerks' classic acid howler "Shout".
