I am very critical and have a huge collection of ambient/electronic downloads.this cd is very good and is not something to be played once and then filed.

BEST TO BE LISTENED ON A HIGHER VOLUME FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE!

Three interlinked tracks takes the listener on a journey into adventurous tech sounds as Namlook & Atom TM again further push the boundaries of electronic ambient into uncharted, interesting, and even challenging areas! A stimulating mind trip into a modern, forward thinking, futuristic, experimental, deep, and atmospheric listening that brings mathematical complex micro music and arrangements along with spacey beatless ambient.

Track 1 brings a complex blend of micro-techno/Idm/breaks even though they can't be pigeon holed in these genres, but can be related to them! The album starts with a complex sounding track with plenty of mathematical patterns that pierce, swirl, shuffle with abstract precision stringing together rapid beats, tight rhythms, bass tones, and hi-tech computerised effects while layers of ambient bring a calmness and a spacey feel when used. Track 1 is quiet forward pushing and futuristic within its style, though remains a deep immersive and experimental exciting listen throughout...Track 2 is a very quiet, drifting, even a lonely almost beatless style of space ambient that plays with slow unfolding developments keeping things interesting and engaging. Hums and elements of microscopic effects flutter as gradual subtle patterns emerge within the ambient, wrapping you with a feeling of loneliness as if you were drifting further away from earth into the darkness of outer space! ...Track 3 brings a combination of tracks 1&2, but adds a very experimental side. Many complex patterns with twists and turns using sounds which again can't be simply be a pigeon-holed or classified into one general genre; even though sounds and patterns can be related and linked to minimalism, glitch, techno/Idm, breaks, and even stripped down bass music delivering a deep, calming, mind altering listen that can be both a tranquil and dark listen. Track 3 is certainly a complex track with both a focused and freestyle approach bringing a formula that certainly displays complexity making this the most experimental, most unique, and even most difficult track on the album!

Jet Chamber 2 certainly has uniqueness and a experimental direction. Stick with it, re-listen, and you'll start to absorb the albums special unheard style of futuristic ambient-music that can provoke thoughts in the subconscious mind with feelings of surprise, isolation, futurism, and deep calmness. This certainly is different from most ambient-music! A very original design on ambient-music that moves away from the many typical wishy-washy ambient already out there. A grower and maybe challenging (track 3) - Yes! But also deep, unique, exciting, and very different!!
