A New Zealand version of this exists. The label design + layout is exactly like any NZ CBS sunburst label.

I have all of the Experience's studio albums, plus the Band of Gypsies record, so I wasn't sure if this was necessary for my collection. I'm not a Hendrix completist or anything--there's just something about his music that moves me, and I'd rather not investigate or think about what that is too much. I got this at a local record store for like $12, and I've gotta say that it was worth every penny! There are rockin' versions of familiar songs on here ("Little Wing," "Voodoo Chile," etc.), but you'll also find a cool "sludgy" version of "Hey Joe." "Bleeding Heart" is a song I'm not too familiar with, but I loved it. "Hear My Train A Comin'" is also a cool version. Especially if you can get this LP cheap, I'd recommend picking it up!

I have an original 1982 vinyl pressing (which I don't think is particularly rare), and it sounds great. This piece of wax has held up great over the years, and each instrument is differentiated nicely, and Jimi's guitar sounds especially clear during his solos. It's crazy how some of these 80s pressings sound better than pressings from these days that are brand new!

This is a great place to start for a live Hendrix compilation and will whet your appetite for the 8LP Winterland box set!

A great collection of live performances. Now if only they'd get round to releasing the Royal Albert Hall stuff!
